The name of the organization is AMDx. Its purpose is to develop and maintain a scholarly digital platform that integrates art historical and medical research through curated images and case studies.
Membership is open to scholars, researchers, and practitioners in relevant fields, including but not limited to art history, medical humanities, medicine, and digital humanities.
Categories of Membership:
Core Members (project leaders and primary contributors)

Advisory Members (subject experts providing guidance)
AMDx is governed by a steering committee composed of Core Members.
The committee oversees project direction, partnerships, and standards.
Decisions are made collaboratively, with a preference for consensus.
Leadership roles (e.g., Director, Digital Lead, Editorial Lead) may be assigned as needed.
All submissions (images and case studies) must meet established scholarly and ethical standards.
Contributions are subject to editorial review and, where appropriate, peer feedback.
Proper attribution and citation are required for all materials.
The group will convene regular meetings (virtual or in person) to discuss progress, review submissions, and plan future initiatives.
Additional meetings may be called as necessary.
